from time to time i get so frustrated by the sheer amount of new music becoming available every single day, that it just feels tiresome to listen to, paying attention and make judgement about it. on such occasions, the only relief is to return to something old and familiar, something that immediately evokes sweet memories. something that encapsulates the wide-eyed enthusiasm of the moment when i first discovered beauty in the purity and felt the overwhelming energy of dance music. i get back to jungle.
i have no intention whatsoever to start posting mediafire links, but right now, i make an exception. partly because i feel an urge to share it, and partly because it’s an otherwise unavailable mix by an unknown dj. according to the info file, the original cd was given as a free promo outside a few london clubs in 1995.
