here comes a piece of music history from one of my all time favourite experimental artist/musicologist.

as the story goes…

“peter [rehberg] brought up the fact that, way back in the hrvåtski days (pre-hrvatski), i had given him a demo for mego proper ; this came as a shock as i’ve always prided myself on the fact that i’ve never solicited anyone with a demo in my life … but sure enough, a few weeks later, he emailed me a photo a crusty mid-90’s branded cd-r with the text “hrvåtski mego demo” written in sharpie, then we-transfer-ed me the audio (here’s all five tracks ; best keep a hand on your volume-knob !!!)”
