neither did i expect an image of moby to appear on this blog, but there you have it, PressPausePlay really is a great documentary.

now, the film doesn’t answer or even intend to answer this question, but keeps raising questions and confronting different ideas instead. i, for one, like this approach in general, and in this case it’s especially welcomed as it helps keeping distance from starry-eyed idealism about the ever-expanding-possibilities-freedom-and-universal-love of the internet and technology et al.
